I innitially thought RFG added the black background, but it's iOS. My mistake...
Anyway...
You can have transparent apple-touch-icons (and favicons), but...
On the home screen of iOS the background of a transparant (apple-touch-) icon is set to black.
You have a couple of options:
- Keep the transparent image and do nothing: the background turns black on iOS, or
- Keep the transparent image and choose your own background colour: RFG will add a solid background colour to your icon, or
- Select a dedicated non-transparent picture for iOS...
